Our Mission and Vision

Our Mission: Reduce the number of young Christians abandoning their beliefs in college and disengaging from the church.

Our Vision: We envision a world where every college-bound Christian leaves home equipped with “good reasons” for the hope they have in Jesus and connects with the Christian community on campus.

Our Values

Parents and Pastors Who Lead the Way. As a supportive para-church ministry, we supplement your critical work of parenting, shepherding, and discipleship with specialized college preparation programs.

Good Answers to Good Questions. In college, students encounter a multitude of objections to historic Christianity from professors, peers, and their own inner skeptic. By highlighting the objective and rational roots of Biblical Christianity, our college-bound students are equipped to defend and articulate WHAT they believe and WHY they believe it.

Culture Making. All spheres of human activity rightly belong to God. This includes science, philosophy, psychology, history, sociology, economics, and a whole host of ideas and disciplines that are rarely discussed in Church youth groups. Our unique programs help young Christians to understand and value Christian contributions to the culture and their roles as culture makers.

Unity in Essentials and Liberty in Non-Essentials. While our staff, board, and speakers all adhere to the essential doctrines of historic Christianity, we strongly encourage “confident curiosity” in different Christian traditions. When encountering controversial ideas at the college level, early exposure to a range of Christian opinions helps students work out their own Christian worldview. Additionally, students are better prepared for a university setting after being exposed to a wide range of Biblically faithful answers to difficult questions while emphasizing sound Biblical hermeneutics, sound Biblical exegesis, and the centrality of Jesus to the Christian faith.

NOTE: The word “university” is derived from the Latin Universitas magistrorum et scholarium, which roughly means “community of teachers and scholars.”
