How Do I Know The Bible Is True?

Many of our teens face a hostile world upon entering college for the first time. How do we train them to know that the bible is true when fields like philosophy, psychology, and science say otherwise?

Aren't All Religions the Same?

We live in a culture that is craving something more than this world can offer. We long for something that can give us meaning and significance. Don’t all religions point us to basically the same resolution? Or, is there something the Christian worldview exclusively offers in terms of satisfying that craving within each of us?

Why is There So Much Evil in the World?

If God, why suffering?

Many of us ask that question every day. Whether it be a mother who was recently diagnosed with cancer or a car accident, many of us are pressed with the problem of evil on an ongoing basis. And, one day, each of us is going to have to deal with the reality of death. When suffering comes, when death comes, who will bear it with us? Who will see us through it?

Why Bother With Apologetics?

The word Apologetics is referenced in 1 Peter 3:15 and comes from the Greek word apologia, which literally means “reasoned defense.” It does not mean to apologize, which is a common misconception among some who are not acquainted with this thrust of Christianity. It means to give a logical defense of the Christian faith. Giving our teens good answers for good questions is a first stepping-stone to a lifetime of discipleship.

What Do I Do With My Doubts?

Every Christian has had some doubts at some point in their life. But this isn’t unique to Christians. Everyone has doubts.

So the question isn’t really can Christians have doubts, but rather, what should we do when doubts come? Doubts can be a good thing. They can cause us to look more closely at what we believe and why we believe it.
